Neon Overpass
★★★★☆ 4.2
Neon Overpass is pure arcade sugar. You tilt or swipe to swing your car between lanes, the city blurs past in wet neon, and a synth soundtrack pushes you faster than you probably should go. There's no realism here and that's the point.
Each run gets harder as traffic thickens, and the near-misses give you a little boost, so the game nudges you toward reckless lane changes. I lost a surprising amount of time chasing a longer streak. The upgrade system is light but keeps you coming back for one more go.
Battery drain is real if you play with everything maxed, so I turned the glow effects down a notch and it still looked great. A solid, honest arcade racer that knows exactly what it is.
