About
Pocket Finds started as a group chat between three friends who kept swapping screenshots of weird little games we found late at night. At some point the chat got too long to scroll, so we turned it into a site. The idea never changed: we play things ourselves, finish them where we can, and tell you honestly what the experience felt like.
We focus on indie and mid-size mobile releases because that's where the interesting ideas live. Big studios get plenty of coverage elsewhere. We'd rather point you toward a quiet puzzle game or a scrappy RPG from a two-person team that actually tried something new.
Every game we cover gets real time on our own phones, not a trailer and a press kit. If something is slow to warm up, we say so. If a game surprised us, we'll tell you exactly where. No studio pays for a spot in our catalog, and we don't pretend to like things we didn't.
The team is small and the review queue is always too long. That's fine. We'd rather publish fewer pieces that we stand behind than churn out lists nobody reads.
